Hacker-Pschorr
Hacker-Pschorr is one of Munich's most renowned traditional Bavarian breweries, with a history dating back to 1417. It is one of the six select breweries officially authorized to serve beer at the world-famous Oktoberfest festival. The modern brand was established in 1972 through the merger of two historic Munich breweries—Hacker and Pschorr. Interestingly, since 1998, the brand has not operated its own physical brewery; production was relocated to the facilities of Paulaner, which is part of the same brewing group. Nevertheless, Hacker-Pschorr maintains its authentic recipes and strict quality standards in accordance with the Bavarian Purity Law (Reinheitsgebot).
