Brouwerij Huyghe

The brewery behind the famous Delirium beer brand (known for its pink elephant) is called Brouwerij Huyghe and is located in the town of Melle, Belgium. The history of brewing at the site dates back to 1654, but the brewery's modern era began in 1906 when Léon Huyghe purchased and renamed it. Today, it is a world-renowned family-owned brewery that exports to over 90 countries and is instantly recognizable thanks to its distinctive branding and high-quality Belgian ales. Huyghe is also known as one of the greenest breweries in the world, thanks to circular systems that allow it to purify up to 65% of its wastewater and convert it back into drinking water.
